ReplyDeleteCODE Introduces New 'Emergent' 10M ISK Permit
Saying the penalty will cover the ganking costs incurred whenever a pilot undocks, CODE introduced a new 10M isk High-Sec undocking fee Monday on all pilots.
“Beginning today, we will require a permit on any pilot who undocks in Empire space,” CODE spokesperson Agent FridgeGanker told reporters, noting that the 10M isk permit will automatically be deducted any time a pilot undocks their ship.
“We’re confident this new permit shouldn’t be an issue for new pilots. As long as pilots remain vigilant about their finances, plex daily, making sure to have sufficient funds, they should be able to conduct their EVE business as usual without ever receiving a visit from one of our knights.”
To further incentivize pilots against repeating unlicensed behavior, Agent FridgeGanker added that the fee will increase with each additional unlicensed undock, with the penalty rising to 75M isk for a second offense, 150M isk for a third offense, and a value equal to the remaining balance of one’s account for any additional unlicensed undocking committed thereafter.
Due to budget cuts enacted by management, CODE has increasingly looked for new revenue streams to stem the financial bleeding. The increasing variety of fees include:

*) Visiting Wormholes - 10M/yr
*) Chatting in Local - 10M/yr
*) Using in-game browser - 10M/yr
We repeatedly reached out to James 315 for comment on his rumored RMT fee for installing the EVE client, but as of press time he has not responded.
What about 200+ freighters that were killed on top of you. Any comments from the antigankers who repeatedly failed to save freighters?

Kill another 200 freighters, it makes no difference, high sec is the same as it was yesterday so you start it all over again tomorrow and everyone has already forgot what you did yesterday.
